LeBron James’ ‘awkward’ comments about Kobe Bryant: Cavs coach
NBA star LeBron James said Monday he’s not surprised by Kobe Bryant’s comments about him being the “awkward one” of the Cleveland Cavaliers.
The Warriors star also joked about the Lakers’ star center’s comments that he was “not a good enough player” to lead his team to a title, something he said he doesn’t have to be.
“I’m not going to lie,” James said.
“I’m just kind of annoyed that he’s been talking about me like that.
You know, it doesn’t mean anything to me.
It’s just kind, you know, I just don’t really get it.
I’m just really, really, kind of surprised by his comments.”
He added that Bryant’s words are “really unfair and disrespectful.”
“It’s kind of unfortunate because I love Kobe and I love the game of basketball and I’m very proud of the game,” James added.
“But at the same time, I’m also a guy that’s always going to have to work, and he’s always gonna have to go through a lot of pressure and adversity to be the best player that he can be.”NBA star LeBron is on vacation and unavailable for comment.
